"Cupcake" Birthday Card

Hi everyone,
Today I am here to share a birthday card I made for my cousin's birthday. I used a cupcake image by Beccy. Don't forget to check out her freebies, she offers amazing images.
I made A2 size top folding card on which I added pattern paper and then stamped Itsy Bitsy Polka Dots stamp to add interest to the background. Then, I colored the cupcake image with Artistry Inks, fussy cut it and adhered it with foam tape on the card panel.
To finish off, I stamped the sentiment from Mama Elephant - Carnival Toppers stamp set and added on the finished panel.

Father's Day Card + Guest Designer @ CRAFT Challenge

Hi everyone,
Today, I am here to share an exciting news!! I am guest designing at CRAFT Challenge Blog this week. The theme is Father's Day/Male. Don't forget to check out and join the fun.
I made a scrapbook album few days back and it was selected as the No 1 in Top 3 at CRAFT Challenge Blog. I was so happy and it was my first invite as the guest designer. I, ofcourse had to say yes!!
I made 2 cards for the challenge.
For the first card, I used My Favorite Things - Sun Ray Stencil and Colorbox Cat's Eye Pigment Inks to make the background. Then I colored a digi image by KennyK stamps - Superhero using my Fabercastell Watercolor Pencils and Artistry Inks. The sentiment is designed by me and my sister. I love making my own digi sentiments. Lastly, I fussy cut the image and assembled all the things together.
For the second card, I wanted to use stamp by Stampanniething - Dean. I love their cuties!! They are all so adorable. This was a bit tricky to color for me. I practiced a lot to get the desired results. For this images also, I used my Fabercastell Watercolor Pencils and Artistry Inks. Again, the sentiment is designed by me and my sister. "Happy Fathers Day" image was a freebie that I got on Google. Lastly, I fussy cut the image and added it to the card panel and added twine to finish off.
That's it for today. Hope you like the cards!!

Accordion Zig Zag Mini Scrapbook

Hello Everyone,
I hope you all are doing good. Today I am going to share a “mini book” for a baby girl.  This is 5.75 X 4 inches mini album. It is designed to add the monthly pics of the baby for 1 year.
To decorate the cover, I have used border punch, doily and few 3D embellishment stickers from Itsy Bitsy
The interesting part of this mini is the accordion zigzag fold… This is how it looks like!!
The inside of the cover has a frame where the first pic of the baby can be added. Then there are monthly pages in zig zag form…
Inside Cover & Month 1
Month 2 & 3
Month 4 & 5
Month 6 & 7
Month 8 & 9
Month 10 & 11
The last page is for the birthday pic!!
I have added 2 pockets in the mini to add some journaling.

Stenciled "Birthday" Card

Hi everyone,
A quick post to share with you all...
Today, I made a birthday card. I tried my hands on ink blending... It was really easy & fun.
I used Craftslane Decorative Background stencil and Colorbox Cat's Eye Pigment Inks to create the background. Then I colored a cupcake image using Artistry Inks. Its a digi image that I downloaded long ago so, I don't remember the the name of the designer.
To finish off I used Prima Marketing Ribbons Petal Poetry. It matched perfectly!! Lastly, I added a sentiment and adhered the black panel on the card base.
That's it... Hope you like it. I still need to practice a lot. But I am quite satisfied with my first attempt.

Piano Card

Hi everyone,
Welcome to my blog!!
I am here to share a musical card today. It is designed for a couple's anniversary. The person loves music so, I thought to try something musical... The first thing came in my mind was piano.. I gave it a Clean & Simple look, didn't want to embellish it much..
To make this card, I cut down the small strips of white and black cardstocks. Then arranged them in a form of keys on a black card panel. To line it up properly was a bit time taking task but the result was worth it!! I am in love with this card... There is a pocket on the top to add picture of the couple.
Then, I embellished it with some roses, sentiment and blings...
 Another view of the card...
 Hope you like it!!

Shaker Embellishments

Hello everyone,
I am here to share an exciting project today! I used my scraps to make some cute shaker embellishments... Here is what I made..
I had a lot of Papericious scraps in my stash so I thought to try something new. I used Spellbinders Shapeabilities Mega Dies - Banner Basics 3 to create these frames. It was a time taking task as its small in size, so instead of using foam tape, I used foam sheets to make these embellishments.
I used seed beads, glitters to fill in...
Then, I attached it to the paperclips... and its done!!
I loved making these.. Hope you like it too!!

Mother's Day Card

Hi everyone,
A quick card to share with you all.... Mothers day is around the corner, so I decided to make a card for my mom...
I made an easel card. It is 5.5 x 5.5 inches. The papers are from EnoGreetings. I wanted to use some decent, lighter shades.
To embellish it, I added doily, tag with sentiment, ribbon, some flowers, leaves and pearls.
Here is a closeup of the sentiment... Most of the embellishments are from Itsy Bitsy
The flowers are from Prima Belle Fluer, I added my handmade flowers to the center of it. You can check my tutorial on how to make these cute little flowers.
This is an inside view of the card. To hold the easel, I added 4 layers of border punch to make it thicker. The border punch is from Martha Stewart Deep Edge - Daisy Lace.
That's it for today!! I hope you like it.
I would like to enter it in the following challenges:

Favor Box Tutorial

Hi everyone,
Welcome to my blog!!
I am going to share an easy tutorial on how to make a favor box.
I am sorry for bad picture quality, I didn't realize when I was clicking pics. Also, my cardstock doesn't have any stain, its a new piece. Its visible just due to bad quality pics. Please bear with me.
Now, lets get started, you will need 1 pc of A4 size cardstock.
 From the 11 inch side, score it at 2 3/4", 5 1/2", 8 1/4" and 11"
Now, turn the cardstock to the 8 inch side and score at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2"
The cardstock must look like this grid...
Now, cut off the extra little tabs on the sides.
Then, slit all score lines till the centre. Refer pic for easy understanding.
Fold the scored line to form a box like this...
The little tab that we left earlier has to be stick to the side of the box. Glue it down.
The box will look like this.
Now, fold all the four sides of the bottom and adhere it.
The box is ready to fill with yummy goodies...
Also, to close it neatly, score 2 opposite side of the top at 3/4".
Close the other 2 flaps down and then, punch the holes on the scored area (I added the paper clip to make it more clear).
Tie it with the ribbon. The favor box is ready!! Decorate it as you like...
Don't forget to check out how I decorated my favor boxes
Hope you like the tutorial. If you have any doubt, please let me know, I will clear it out. Thanks for stopping by!!
